What the Kansai WIDE Area Pass covers
- JR West lines in Kansai and out to Okayama, Takamatsu, Kinosaki Onsen, Amanohashidate, Tottori, Shirahama and Tsuruga.
- Shinkansen: Sanyo Shinkansen, Shin-Osaka to Okayama.
- Not valid on the Tokaido Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka to Tokyo), the Sanyo Shinkansen beyond Okayama or the Kyushu Shinkansen.
- Limited express trains: Haruka, Kuroshio, Konotori, Super Hakuto.
- Other railways included: Kyoto Tango Railway; Chizu Express; Wakayama Electric Railway; JR Shikoku line Utazu to Takamatsu (JR); West JR Bus local buses.
- Reserved seats in ordinary cars, unlimited times (from the 7th booking at a ticket office).

How the sums are made
Single fares are station prices for one person, fare plus limited express charge for an ordinary reserved seat, read for Tuesday 20 October 2026 (regular season), from 10:00 unless noted. Legs are separate tickets; a through ticket over the same route can cost less. Each trip is set against the pass length that gives every train its own day, up to the longest pass on sale. Fares that could not be read are left out, so those totals are "at least". The calculator link opens the trip with two nights in each city; change them to fit.
