Swiss Travel Pass calculator
The Swiss Travel Pass costs CHF 254 for 3 days in a row in 2nd class and the Swiss Half Fare Card CHF 150 for a month[1][2], prices valid until 31 December 2026; Swiss Travel System says they will not rise in December[3]. A full fare from Zurich to Interlaken Ost is CHF 76[4], so the pass pays only when you ride a lot or go up mountains it covers. Enter your trips below; fares checked on 19 October 2026.
Add a trip to see the sum.
Full fares for one person, one way, from the SBB fare search[4]. The Half Fare Card halves most train, bus and boat fares[2]; on some short trips a minimum price means less than half. The calculator does not count Supersaver tickets, which SBB sells for set trains at lower prices.

The Swiss Half Fare Card costs CHF 150 for one month and halves or reduces the price of train, bus, boat, panorama train and mountain railway tickets, in 1st and 2nd class[2].
Swiss public transport fares rise by an average of 3.6% on nationally valid tickets and travelcards from 13 December 2026 (agreed with the Price Supervisor on 4 August 2026; first planned at 3.9%)[29]. Swiss Travel System says the Swiss Travel Pass and Swiss Half Fare Card prices will not increase[3].
The Saver Day Pass gives one day of travel across the GA area. It costs from CHF 52 in 2nd class and from CHF 88 in 1st class, or from CHF 29 and CHF 49 with a Half Fare Card; the earlier you buy, the more likely a low price[30]. On the SBB fare search for Tuesday 16 March 2027 it showed at CHF 52 and CHF 88[4].
