Train to Kamakura and Yokohama: cost and time
The train from Tokyo to Kamakura costs ¥1,800 on the Odoriko to Ofuna, then JR Yokosuka Line (48 min), or ¥1,040 on the JR Yokosuka Line rapid (56 min); from Tokyo to Yokohama ¥1,290 on the Odoriko (23 min), or ¥530 on the JR Tokaido Line (30 min), one way for one person with a reserved seat where the train has one, on a regular day, checked on 29 October 2026. How the fares are read
Fares are station prices for one person, fare plus the limited express or Shinkansen charge for an ordinary reserved seat (fare only on trains with no reserved seats), from JR West's and JR East's own timetable and fare searches for a regular season day, departures from 10:00. A journey with a change of train is one through ticket. Season surcharges, Green cars and discounts are not counted.
